From review by Jovan N. Ivanovic:

"Ulemek is expressively vivid and persuasive in his depiction of the warriors' triad: preparation, action and post festum which follows every action and which is a structural pre-standard, and sets himself apart from the multitude of writers who have analysed the image of recent battlefields. What contributes to the heights of this expressiveness, not only in this element of the composition, is the lived and lived-through, in one word, the warrior's experience.
Gemza and his "pack" are a synonym for communality and energy, the biting off of tat which one bites into, a synonym for lack of reserve in the defense of "The Holy Serbian Land" from provocations and the unchivalrous carge of the Albanian terrorists who believe that, aided by outside forces, they can kidnap, kill in cold blood and spread unrest in a land which never belonged to them."
